Planning for College? Why Not Win a $1,000 Scholarship Too?!

A colleague of mine, Annette Bosley-Boyce, just launched her college planning book, The College Success Plan, which is available on Amazon.com and her website www.thecollegesuccessplan.com. Unlike most college planning books that focus only on the admissions process, The College Success Plan offers a series of lessons for teens that focus on self-discovery, career planning, and college planning. After completing all 20 lessons, teens not only learn how to navigate the college admission process, but they’ll also learn how to plan for their future, which includes researching careers, discovering today’s employment trends, and choosing colleges that offer the best financial aid packages (which will benefit them by avoiding too much student loan debt in their post-graduation years).

The College Success Plan Scholarship, which offers a $1,000 prize to the first place winner and a $500 savings bond to the second place winner, will be accepting entries between now and August 31, 2012.  I’m a judge for the final nominees, so come check it out at www.thecollegesuccessplan.com/scholarship.  Who knows?  You just may be our next grand prize winner!
